This is given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards by their peers. Josh has had great success in trying cases before the state and federal courts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and he has been equally effective in assisting both his own clients and other attorneys through methods of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration, mediation, and consulting on witness preparation and focus group presentations. Josh regularly lectures to physicians and other professional groups and participates in education programs for healthcare providers to assist his clients in addressing and preventing claims. Additionally, Josh authored two editions of the “Discovery in Medical Negligence Cases in Rhode Island” chapter in “A Practical Guide to Discovery in Rhode Island,” a comprehensive guide to litigation practice in Rhode Island.
